Can I use your skincare if I have sensitive skin?
Yes. Our products are designed for outdoor athletes and people with active lifestyles, using
gentle, natural formulations that suit most skin types. However, if you have known allergies or
very reactive skin, we recommend checking the ingredient list carefully and performing a patch
test before first use. Please read each product usage and ingredients in the products section.
How should I store my products?
Store products in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Our packaging is designed to
protect the formulas, but extreme heat or cold may affect texture or performance.
The pump is not working — is this normal?
Yes, this can occasionally happen. As this is a natural oil-based formula, temporary separation
may occur at low temperatures. Allow the product to rest at normal room temperature for a short
time before use. In rare cases, the pump may feel harder to operate when the product is cold.
What does COSMOS mean?COSMOS Natural is an internationally recognised certification that guarantees a product is
made with ingredients of natural origin and processed in a safe, environmentally friendly way.
Unlike COSMOS Organic, it does not require a minimum percentage of organic ingredients, but
it strictly controls what can and cannot be used. Products with the COSMOS Natural label meet
high standards of sustainability, transparency, and responsible manufacturing, ensuring that
“natural” truly means natural. COSMOS Organic is the highest level of COSMOS certification. It means that a product contains a significant percentage of organic ingredients. At least 95% of the physically
processed agro-ingredients must be organic, and at least 20% of the total product must be
organic. COSMOS Organic products also follow strict sustainability, safety, and ethical
standards — from farming methods to ingredient sourcing and packaging.
If your products are made in a COSMOS-certified facility, why don’t they
carry the COSMOS logo?
Our products are manufactured in a COSMOS-certified facility, which means they are produced
according to strict standards for ingredient sourcing, processing, safety, and sustainability.
However, the COSMOS logo itself can only be used if the finished product is individually
certified. Product-level certification is a separate process that requires additional audits,
documentation, and fees for each specific product and packaging format.
As a small, independent brand, we have chosen to focus our resources on high-quality
formulations, responsible ingredient sourcing, and ethical production, rather than on the
administrative and financial costs of individual product certification.
While our products are not COSMOS-certified at product level, they are made in a
COSMOS-certified facility using natural, carefully selected ingredients, following the same
manufacturing principles and standards.
We believe in transparency and prefer to communicate this clearly rather than use certification
marks we are not legally entitled to display.

Is the FACE ELIXIR a sunscreen?
No. This Face Elixir is not a sunscreen and does not claim SPF. It is designed to support skin
recovery and resilience after exposure to environmental stress, not to replace sun protection.
How does FACE ELIXIR help skin recover after exposure?
The formula supports the skin by replenishing lost lipids after sun, wind, and salt exposure,
supporting the skin barrier to reduce moisture loss, calming skin stressed by weather and
temperature changes, and improving skin comfort, softness, and elasticity.
Is FACE ELIXIR suitable after sun exposure?
Yes. After sun exposure, skin often feels dry or depleted. This elixir helps restore softness and
comfort and should always be used after sun protection, not instead of it. Due to strong actives, please do not expose face to sun after using the Face Elixir. Use in the evening and make sure you use SPF during the day.
Can it be used after exposure to wind, cold, or frost?
Yes. Cold air and wind can compromise the skin barrier. This elixir helps support barrier repair,
reduce dryness, and maintain skin flexibility in harsh weather conditions, making it suitable for
mountain and snow environments.
Is it suitable for salt-water exposure and coastal environments?
Yes. Salt water and sea air can dehydrate the skin. This elixir helps replenish skin lipids and

Why is sun protection important for active outdoor lifestyles?
UVA and UVB exposure can cause sunburn, premature ageing, dehydration, and long-term skin
stress. Outdoor sports, high altitude, water reflection, wind, and snow significantly increase UV
exposure.
What type of sunscreen is this?
These are mineral sun defence products formulated with Zinc Oxide as the UV filter.
Mineral sunscreens protect by reflecting UV rays from the skin. Although we use invisible zinc, no zinc is truly invisible. A light cast is normal and even required as it is formed by the particles that reflect the rays.
Does it protect against UVA and UVB rays?
Yes. Zinc Oxide provides broad-spectrum protection against both UVA and UVB rays.
Is this sunscreen water resistant?
Yes our mineral sunscreens are water-resistant. We recommend re-applying after 40 min of water exposure if swimming or surfing, and 60-80 min if kite, wind surfing, wake boarding and the like (as skin is not in the water as much).
Who is SPF50 zinc best suited for?
Kite, wind, surf and any water sport. Not suited for people with special medical skin condition – please check with your dermatologist or do a patch test first. Not suited for long surf sessions. Please re-apply every hour or so or use layering.
Who is SPF 35+ SUN DEFENCE best suited for?
Best suited for people with early or late day summer sun exposures and dry skin. Great for alpine athletes. It is not intended for
prolonged water immersion such as in surfing, however, could be suitable for kite and windsurf if you are our there before 11am and after 4:40 pm. Not suited for people with special medical skin condition – please check with your dermatologist or do a patch test first. Not suited for long surf sessions.
Is it suitable for cold and alpine environments?
Yes. UV exposure increases at altitude and in snowy environments due to reflection. This
sunscreen is especially suitable for mountain sports and cold-weather outdoor activities.
